Mark Summers is a seasoned expert in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, and Testing, with over three decades of hands-on experience in structured software testing, maturity assessments, and software quality assurance. As a founding member and former President of TMMI America, Mark's passion for continuous improvement in quality and testing is evident. Mark has excelled in implementing large Quality Centers of Excellence (QCOEs), DevOps Quality frameworks, Internet of Things (IOT) testing, AI, Machine Learning, Test Automation, Performance Testing, TMMI, and CMMI. Having successfully established and led quality organizations for Fortune 4, 100, and 500 companies, including CVS, Northwestern Mutual, FIS, Kohl’s, and Johnson Controls, Mark now serves as the Solutions Director at Apex Systems.
Alan Brunelle is a seasoned solutions architect specializing in DevOps. With a strong background in leadership roles at BNY Mellon, PNC Bank, and First Data Corporation, Alan brings a wealth of knowledge to his current position as the Solutions Director of DevOps at Apex Systems. He is dedicated to helping DevOps leaders modernize their practices by improving automation and overall efficiency. Alan's role involves enabling efficient software delivery processes through automation, including the selection of best-of-breed tools, ensuring secure software delivery, and simplifying the production of high-quality software.
Seth Robinson is the vice president of industry research for CompTIA, the leading trade association for the IT industry. In this role, he leads analysis of technology and business trends in the IT industry and provides insight into trend drivers and future direction. Seth has led research studies on IT security, cloud computing, internet of things, and artificial intelligence, among other areas. His research across multiple disciplines gives him a broad perspective on IT strategy and has led to the creation of CompTIA’s Functional IT Framework. He is the co-host of CompTIA’s popular Volley podcast and has been cited in various media outlets, including Wall Street Journal and USA Today, for his thoughts on how businesses are using technology and how the role of IT is changing.
