Upcoming Event – Requirements Elicitation Techniques, April 24th at KForce

In keeping with the Tampa Bay IIBA’s commitment to the BABOK, our April meet-up will explore the application of various styles of requirements elicitation techniques and situations where they are best applied. Priscilla Partaw will share her experiences and knowledge in this realm that is key to Business Analysis success.

Membership Update

The Tampa Bay IIBA Membership team is working on streamlining the process of registration of new members and how to increase the outreach to registered members. They have started documenting the process so that new members can be referred to the right board members when they seek to join the chapter or leadership team in future.

The membership team is also working on the methodology which will ensure that the events organized by Tampa Bay IIBA are being communicated and are well advertised. Visibility of such events will help in increasing number of members who are interested to be part of our community and also will encourage the members working hard to conceptualize, plan and deliver the events.

Behind the Scenes – BPM Committee Update

Working in conjunction with IIBA Tampa Bay Board and Leadership Stakeholders, the BPM team successfully created the first two draft Membership and Marketing Use Cases. Use Cases are driving the development of an IIBA Tampa Bay ‘As-Is- Operations’ business process flow diagram. The Use Cases and BPM diagrams are part of an initiative to ensure quality, process improvement and business continuity for IIBA Tampa Bay members and external stakeholders.
