The Benefits and Strategies for Remote Business Analysts

This event provides strategies at the personal, project, and organizational level. Learn from experienced BAs from the IIBA WCF Board, Karen Archibald and AJ Hawley.

  • Personal - The benefits and tradeoff of working from home and strategies on how to stay engaged/focused 
  • Project - ​Learn how to manage several projects and project teams across time zones
  • Organizational - Refresher on the benefits for organizations to implement remote workers + additional insight

Archibald has over 20 years in the healthcare industry and currently is a Business Analyst Consultant (BAC) with United Healthcare. She has been effectively managing large-scale projects from her home office for over 13 years. She currently is the VP of Membership for our IIBA chapter.

Hawley is a Senior Project Manager and Business Analyst with HCL PowerObjects, specializing in CRM. Hawley collaborates with his geographically-dispersed teams from co-working spaces as well as travels onsite to consult with his clients. Hawley is the captain of logistics for IIBA WCF.
