Webinar: Training Thoughtful Leaders: Elevating Listening, Empathy and Awareness of Leadership Styles This session will describe the possibilities of transitioning across three types of leaders: the transactional, the transforming, and the transcendent. Effective leaders are combinations of all three, and all leverage attributes needed for a given situation at one time or another.
The thoughtful leader also routinely empathizes with their team—taking the time to lean in and share experiences, pay attention to the epidata swirling around everyone, and being aware of what is going on within the organization. Being a sponge and absorbing and synthesizing activities and happenings is a hallmark of a thoughtful leader, as is having the skills, proficiency, and fortitude to comprehend the whole environment of their organization—discerning, participating, and not retreating.
